SCHOOL, PRE-SCHOOL, EXTRACURRICULAR


School, pre-school and extracurricular visits, with or without a guide, are by registration only. Registration with a guide is subject to written confirmation.

 

The information below is intended for pre-school, extracurricular, compulsory and post-compulsory school groups. For other students, please visit the Students page

 

Tours without a guide for preschoolers, schoolchildren and extracurricular activities

  • Registration required at least 48 hours in advance by form or e-mail.
  • Free admission to the museum for the group and its accompanying person(s).
  • Time slots : Tuesday to Friday, from 11am to 12am and from 2pm to 6pm.

 

Guided tours for classes aged 6+

  • Swiss public schools (compulsory education from 6 years old and post-compulsory education): free of charge
  • Pre-school (crèches, day-care centres, apems) and extracurricular (community centres) in Lausanne: free
  • Private schools, universities and schools outside Switzerland: CHF 100.00, including admission
  • Registration required at least 2 weeks in advance by form or e-mail.
  • Time slots : Tuesday to Friday, from 9:45am to 6pm (due to sanitary measures, the 9:45-11am time slot is reserved for gymnasiums).

Registrations are subject to written confirmation.

Image portfolio

The Collection de l’Art Brut lends out a portfolio of reproductions of the exhibition works for prior classroom study.

DVDs on loan

Around twenty short films presenting the Art Brut creators are available on loan in DVD format.
