School visits, pre- and extracurricular, with or without a guide, are organized by registration only.
Unguided visits for preschoolers, school and extracurricular groups
- Mandatory registration at least 48 hours in advance via form.
- Free admission to the museum for the group and accompanying persons.
- Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday, between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. and between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. (museum closing).

Guided visits
- Swiss public schools (mandatory level from age 6 and post‑compulsory secondary II): free.
- Preschool (nurseries, daycares, APEMS) and extracurricular (community centers) Lausanne: free.
- Private schools, universities and schools outside Switzerland: CHF 100 per group, admission included.
- Mandatory registration at least 2 weeks in advance via form.
- Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday, between 9:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. (museum closing).
- Visit duration: 50 minutes
