In 2026, museum gugging celebrates its 20th anniversary.
This milestone marks the occasion for one of the most comprehensive presentations of Gugging Art across the entire exhibition space of the museum and serves as the highlight of the anniversary year.
The exhibition focuses on 20 Gugging artists, with the works of August Walla and Johann Hauser featured prominently. August Walla would have celebrated his 90th birthday in 2026, Johann Hauser his 100th.
The Collection of Art Brut holds several dozen works by Johann Hauser and August Walla, including GÖTTER, a large-format work permanently displayed in the Lausanne museum.
