Documentary by Laetitia Møller, France, 2001, 70 min
Under the artificial lights of a stage, the group Astéréotypie performs, touring with its album L'énergie positive des dieux. Their music is a surge of electric rock. Their lyrics deliver wild poetry. Accompanied by four musicians, Stanislas, Yohann, Aurélien and Kevin are the singers of the group. Coming from a medico‑educational institute hosting young autistic individuals, they reveal on stage their striking universes, encouraged by Christophe, an educator more passionate about outsider art than educational techniques. They are in their twenties, have a stage presence and a singular style. They blow the wind and scream anger.
