Inspired by Henry James' eponymous novella, The Turn of the Screw, composed by Benjamin Britten in 1954, is a lyrical work that gives prominence to ghosts and spirits. During this two‑voice visit, accompanied by the playwright Catherine Ailloud‑Nicolas and Eleanor Philippoz, art historian, set off to discover the beyond world of two spiritist artists: Madge Gill (1882‑1961) and Augustin Lesage (1876‑1954).
