Pascale Binant presents : The rock paintings of Serra da Capivara National Park (Northeastern Brazil)

After studying the History of Art at the l’Ecole du Louvre, and then Ethnology and Prehistory at the University of Paris X Nanterre, Pascale Binant set out to better familiarize the public with the sciences. Working on behalf of the Foreign Ministry, and under the auspices of a Franco-Brazilian archaeological mission, Ms. Binant headed a study of the rock paintings of the Serra da Capivara in Brazil. The author of a number of texts in a scientific vein, but also several for the broad public, Ms. Binant currently lives in Aquitaine (France), where she has created and now directs the Archéo-éditions publishing house, specializing in archaeology.
