Lecture: Art Brut Today: Still on the outskirts ?

Henceforth, Art Brut is part and parcel of art history: we look back on the inventive manner with which Jean Dubuffet linked his own collection to his own manner of conceiving it. Today, in her role as director of La Collection de l'Art Brut de Lausanne, Sarah Lombardi continues in his footsteps, as do Anne-Françoise Rouche, founder and director of the "S" Grand- Atelier artistic workshop for artists with disabilities and Christian Berst, a gallery owner whose interest in the matter henceforth takes him beyond European borders.
