Works by Aloïse at the LaM (Lille Métropole, musée d’art moderne, d’art contemporain et d’art brut)
In its upcoming exhibition Aloïse Corbaz en constellation, running from February 14 thru May 10, 2015, the LaM (Lille Métropole, musée d’art moderne, d’art contemporain et d’art brut) will be including thirty works on loan from Lausanne's Collection de l'Art Brut.Aloïse Corbaz is an emblematic figure in the Art Brut realm. Her highly singular works are easily recognizable thanks to their richly colorful and luxuriant appearance, and to the figures peopling them...historic figures, amorous couples, opera players and pacifist and religious symbols.
The Aloïse Corbaz en constellation exhibition will be showing nearly 250 pieces and documents.
