The trip taken by the Association des Amis de l’Art Brut (AAAB) on September 30th, 2017

On September 30th, the AAAB had the pleasure of paying a visit to the Bruno Weber Park in Dietikon, as well as the Emma Kunz Center in Würenlos.

Bruno Weber (1931 – 2011) put all his energy into setting up a park some 20,000 square meters large, endowing it with concrete sculptures and a number of enchanting constructions . He conceived of the site as a link between art, architecture and nature, and midway between the East and the West. Ever evolving, this work is still under construction, based on drawings dreamt up by Bruno Weber.

Emma Kunz (1892 – 1963), a healer and a medium, also left a highly fascinating and mysterious body of work behind—works she carried out using a pendulum. Every day, she would retire to a grotto that was located in the Roman stone quarries of Würenlos. These have since become known as a spiritual and energetic center and, as such, they harbor the Emma Künz Center that features this creator's graphic production.
