The Jacqueline Oyex Foundation confers its 2013 Jacqueline Oyex Award on François Burland.

On September 10, 2013, the Fondation Jacqueline Oyex will confer its Jacqueline Oyex Award for 2013 on François Burland.
The ceremony will be taking place at 6 pm at the Collection de l’Art Brut, Lausanne, with François Burland, Mrs. Katia Horber Papazian (the artist's niece and president of the Foundation), Michel Thévoz (artistic consultant and the Collection de l’Art Brut's first curator) and Sarah Lombardi (the new director of the Collection de l’Art Brut) all in attendance.
The Jacqueline Oyex Foundation will take advantage of the occasion to also endow the museum with four "Poyas" (cattle drive paintings) by François Burland and twenty prints by Jacqueline Oyex.
The evening will continue at 7 pm with the big screen projection of Francis Reusser's film on Jacqueline Oyex (Jacqueline Oyex, 2011, 21') in the film director's presence.

The Foundation confers its "Distinction Jacqueline Oyex" annually, for purposes of supporting and promoting artists singled out for their commitment and expressive intensity. The Foundation purchases one of their works or a group of them on behalf of a museum interested in such an acquisition.

From September 3 to 29, works by Jacqueline Oyex and François Burland will be set on display at the Collection de l'Art Brut, in a room entirely devoted to them.
Two films—Les poyas burlesques de François Burland by Philippe Lespinasse and Fabrice Ferrari (2012, 35’)  and Jacqueline Oyex by Francis Reusser (2011, 21’)—will be screened continuously on site.
