Nek Chand made his dream come true in Chandigarh, India, by building a fabulous garden filled with myriads of statues: gods and goddesses, men, women, children and all sorts of animals. Released in both an English and French version by the publishers Flammarion (Paris), this 160-page book entitled "The Kingdom of Nek Chand" is the first monograph on this creator. It comprises 150 color photographs by Philippe Lespinasse, together with essays by Lucienne Peiry and Philippe Lespinasse, as well as an Introduction by John Maizels and a Preface by the president of the Swiss Commission for UNESCO.
